Stained Glass Doors

A pair of reclaimed painted pine internal stained glass doors. The doors have an elegant appearance and were originally sidelights to frame a front door. The doors are now ideal for use as an internal pair. The doors have a traditional period design with each door having a raised and fielded panel, recessed on the other side of the doors. The top of each door is fitted with a stained glass panel featuring a pretty design in red and blue which is surrounded by clear textured glass. The doors have been painted white but there are some chips and flaking, especially on the edges where they were removed from their original position and you may wish to sand and re-paint them to suit.

The doors are in solid condition with some signs of age and some damage, as expected of reclaimed items. The glass has some breaks and cracks. Please see the arrows in the pictures that point to the breaks in the glass. We can have the glass repaired for an extra charge. We would suggest budgeting approximately £200 for the repairs but please contact us for a final quote and for details of the repairs, for example the red glass with breaks could have lead strips added to cover the breaks. The base of the doors have some damage with some knocks and splintering. The edges of the doors have some damage from where they were removed from their original position. One face of the doors has some filler or silicone around the edges. There are some small holes and marks from hardware removal. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have an elegant appearance and will make a very nice internal feature for a home.
