Terms and Conditions of Sale

Placing an order signifies that you agree to our terms and conditions of sale. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions

1. General
These conditions of sale ("the conditions") supplied by Heritage House, ("The Company") of 18-19, Castle Street, Shrewsbury, SY1 2AZ ("The Company's Address") to a purchaser ("The Customer") shall be incorporated into each contract ("the contract") made by the company for the sales of the company’s goods ("the Goods"). The company contracts upon such terms are as agreed between the Company and the Buyer.


2. Carriage and Packaging
Unless specified otherwise, the prices stated exclude delivery.
Carriage / delivery charges shall be charged at the discretion of the Company, at the rates shown.


3. Price
All prices shall be as stated by the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any discounts or "special offers" displayed will only be applicable at time of display.


4. Payment
Payments can be made by credit & debit cards (Maestro/Switch, Solo, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron), cheque (payable to “Heritage House”) or cash.

Payment in full: the full amount is paid on placing your order by any of the above methods.

5. Cancellation of Order
The deposit will be fully refunded if order is cancelled within seven (7) days of the date of order, however if cancellation is made after seven days the deposit will not be refunded.

6. Delivery Timescales
All items show an ESTIMATED delivery timescale, this is based upon current information from suppliers and should serve as a guide. PLEASE NOTE: From time to time supplier delays may occur, however we will keep you informed regarding the process of your order. If you wish to seek an estimated delivery time, please email us at info@heritagehouseuk.com with your name and order number.


7. Delivery, Examination and Claims
The Customer shall accept mutually arranged delivery/collection. The Company will use its best endeavours to complete delivery/collection on the date(s) agreed with the Customer but will not be obliged to offer any compensation for late or re-scheduled deliveries. If the goods are undelivered at the Customer’s fault, and re-delivery has to take place, a further charge may be applicable.
The Customer shall upon delivery examine the Goods and report any defects within 48 (forty-eight) hours, but the Customer's attention is drawn to the Company's "Product Care Guide regarding natural imperfections etc prior to the claim being lodged.


8. Guarantee, Warranty & Refunds
All goods supplied are guaranteed and will be repaired or replaced at the Company’s discretion should any structural fault develop within 12 months of purchase. The Company cannot be held responsible for any imperfections in the natural materials used, or any damage caused by the Customer.

9. Use of goods
 Our furniture is suitable for normal domestic use, and is not guaranteed for any commercial/industrial use.


10. Refunds Policy
In the case of items being returned by the Customer for the reason of reported fault/damage within 48 hours of being received, Heritage House will collect relevant items at the Company's convenience (but within a reasonable amount of time), refunds will be applied as and when items have been received back at our warehouse and inspected by the Company's Management. Refunds are not applied prior to this collection & inspection.


11. Descriptions
All drawings, descriptions, illustrations and dimensions given in the Company’s catalogues, price lists, website or other advertising matter are approximate and intended for general guidance purposes only. Although the Company will endeavour to keep such information up-to-date, they may be subject to change without prior notice to the Customer.
