A dovetail joint is one of the most durable joint techniques and is used in superior woodworking joinery. Noted for its resistance to being pulled apart (tensile strength), the dovetail joint is used to join sections such as the sides of a drawer to the front.
All of our oak drawers are dovetailed front AND rear.

Example: A drawer from our Opul Range
Mortice and Tenon Joints
A very strong wood joint made by fitting together a mortice in one board and a matching projecting member (tenon) in the other. A Mortice and Tenon joint is the favoured method used by skilled woodworking craftsmen.
All of our extending oak tables and cupboard doors have Mortice Tenon joints.

Exampe: The Opul Extending table.
